One third of Australia and New Zealand's wool clip is black, coarse, low-grade, or coloured. None of it useful for fashion houses, 2% destined for landfill, 8% held on farm waiting for better prices. BlackBaa, partnering with government, universities, investors and sheep farmers, is building a cross-national infrastructure for a new industry with impeccable credentials.

Farmers sell us their low-grade clip or have us process it for their own uses; some also partner with BlackBaa to build extremely profitable micro-refineries on their own sheep stations. Industry leaders are working with our scientists, university and government partners to perfect product recipes for a global pivot; domestic options focus on the construction and industrial sectors. Early-stage investors are interested in BlackBaa's business model for a $3 billion expansion. BlackBaa is also working with government on building a 10% climate resilience fund for sovereign capability protecting farmers across both Australia and New Zealand.
